This advice focuses on how to manage businesses in a way that enables and supports First Nations people to manage and protect their heritage and Country. This is in accordance with their right to Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC).
The guides are designed to help investors ensure their investments meet culturally appropriate expectations. It supports best practice First Nations cultural heritage management in Australia and globally. The guides helps organisations such as grant funders and philanthropists assess funding applicants, ensuring applications meet cultural heritage standards.

The Dhawura Ngilan Business and Investor Initiative is a First Nations-led project that provides resources to enable investors and business to pro-actively contribute to the Dhawura Ngilan Vision by achieving best practice throughout their strategies, operations, and business relationships.
