The 2024 Nature Positive Business Awareness Survey was conducted by ACBF between May and July 2024, as part of work with national and international partners to bring together leaders from business and civil society prior to the Global Nature Positive Summit in Sydney in October 2024.
The survey was distributed to around 200 leading Australian businesses in key industries including mining, energy, agriculture, forestry, food and retail, banking and finance, communications, transport and property, as well as to professional bodies. 62 survey responses were received with cross sectoral representation.
The survey is a resource for businesses seeking to understand nature positive and what it may mean for their sector. It explores business attitudes to nature positive, actions taken so far, and the drivers and barriers that businesses have identified.
