ASFI’s natural capital work program(Opens in a new tab/window) works to increase capability and appetite of financial institutions to understand and integrate natural capital into financial decision making. A key part of this work is a partnership with Farming for the Future, which focuses on the agriculture sector and translates research on natural capital indicators that are most relevant to on-farm productivity, profitability and resilience into decision useful information for financial institutions. This is informing nature related reporting and development of sustainable finance products for agri customers, unlocking finance and investment for natural capital in productive landscapes.
